LEI redesigned this web site in late 2004 and it looked like the image below until late 2006. The site had been through many revisions and had serious file management issues (we had to sort through and strip code from 1,283 current, old, and mystery files). The revised site includes a clean maintainable design that uses Cascading Style sheets along with vastly improved text-based navigation and new rotating content feeds and data-driven information.

We also updated and re-incorporated the back-end tools including the ad rotator, yellow pages, vehicle search, daily news, and calendar (see our Programming Projects page for more details on these tools).

We have nothing to do with its current incarnation, which is significantly slower than our version. Plus, they put back in all the horrible font tags that we laboriously took out. Oh well. So much for clean, search-engine optimized code.

Software used: HTML editor, Dreamweaver, Photoshop
