The Daily Hound Outing

We have four high-energy hounds. To temper their enthusiasm a little, we take them for a big "walkie" at lunch time. Almost every day we take them for a 30-45 minute walk along the trails we've cut on our property. The two least obedient dogs are leashed to each other, rather than to us. (The other two actually come when called, so they get to be leash-free.) All four dogs are trained to run back to us when we whistle. This way, the canine crew can run back and forth, over and over again like idiots while we sedately stroll along.
